What is SolidWorks?

SolidWorks is a solid modelling computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) computer program that runs on Microsoft Windows. First introduced in 1997 SolidWorks now has millions of licences in use across the world. It is the design software of choice in most educational institutions. Is there a student version of SolidWorks?

Yes. Although Cadtek only supplies Commercial licences and Educational and Research licences to institutions, Universities etc. Buy the Student Version here
