What is SolidWorks?
SolidWorks is a solid modelling computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) computer program that runs on Microsoft Windows. We believe it to be the best-in-class solution for design engineers, product designers and manufacturing engineers. First introduced in 1997 SolidWorks now has millions of licences in use across the world. It is the design software of choice in most educational institutions. SolidWorks 3D CAD is the core product of a suite of tools that provide solutions for all aspects of the design and manfacturing process including, but not limited to, Product Data Management, Simulation and Virtual Testing, Photo-realistic Rendering, Technical Publications and Productivity Tools.
Is there a student version of SolidWorks?
Yes. Although Cadtek only supplies Commercial licences and Educational and Research licences to institutions, Universities etc. Buy the Student Version here

Can you provide training?
Yes. Cadtek is able to offer a comprehensive schedule of training in all of the SolidWorks products (including some partner products such as SolidCAM) from numerous venues across the UK. As part of our partnership with Solid Solutions Management we are able to offer shared training centre resources to increase the scope and scale of each of our training services.
